Chief Financial Officer

Gene graduated with an Honors Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor in 1980. He spent 6 years with Clarkson Gordon Chartered Accountants (Ernst & Young). Since 1986 he moved through a succession of positions of increasing responsibility including 14 years with the Cuddy Group of Companies, a large multinational agribusiness focused in the turkey and broiler chicken industry.
In March 2001, Gene was appointed Director of Finance at Cuddy Farms. In December 2003 he was appointed to a newly created position of Director of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement at Cuddy.

Gene's strengths lie in the development, implementation and use of disciplined financial reporting and management information systems to support management in achieving operational excellence. His experience in strategic planning and "thinking outside the box" as well as in developing business cases from a financial and operational perspective and the preparation and execution of business plans are additional valuable assets.
